Las Vegas Events is a cleanly designed website that lists major events going on and around Las Vegas.
One of the things I like best about it is is clear design devoid of clutter and easy to get to the what when and where of what is happening around Vegas. There isn't alot of bullshit thrown in to distract you from getting exactly the info that you would presumably be going there for. whoever designed the site deserves kudos.
It has an event schedule, a news page, and a Vegas Info page.

Just The Chips

Just the Chips is a blog dedicated to Poker Chips, Poker Products, and Poker Accessories. It is run by Jay Brewer who also runs several other blogs.
At Just The Chips he showcases new products and news about the poker world and anything to do with cool new poker gear.

If you are a poker nut and can't seem to spend enough money decking out your poker room then this site is for you.

Is there still a poker boom? Around my parts I know it's died down a bit but there are still folks that play regularly.

Vegas Gang Podcast

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another podcast baby!

This one is a collaboration of some very knowlegable new and old media Vegas folks headed and run by the venerable Hunter Hillegas and joined by David McKee from Las Vegas Advisor, Chuck Monster from VegasTripping.com, Dave Schwartz from the DieIsCast.com, and Jeff Simpson who writes for the Las Vegas Sun & In Business Las Vegas.

These guys dig in to the nuts and bolts of Casino design, Vegas Casino business, and a whole slew of topics relating to the city we all love. This is not so much a laugh fest like the This Ain't Iowa or Five Hundy By Midnight Podcast. It's more serious in tone and delivered with a businesslike attitude.

The podcast is done bi-weekly and the guest this week will be Christina Binkley, the author of 'Winner Take All'

Hunter Hillegas is the man behind RateVegas.com and the Two Way Hard Three Vegas Blog.
