Las Vegas Sun Interactive

Whoa!
The Las Vegas Sun has a multimedia page utilizing some of the coolest technology I've seen on ANY website.

There is an interactive casino history map in which you click through the different decades and see the new buildings come and go. It's rockin technology. It also has hi-def videos of the history of Las Vegas broken down into decades from the 1900s on. Then there are the implosion videos. There's The Neon Boneyard, and also The Elvis Impersonators. In short its the best collection of Vegas Mutimedia put together on one web page that I've ever seen.

We've been Nominated For Best Vegas Blog!!!!! Place your votes!

Okay, Okay now that I've gotten past my incredible feeling of excitement let me now say that I'm incredibly honored to be included in the category for Best Blog for the 2008 Trippies.

It's great that some of you think I have a great site and provide useful content to satisfy a part of your Vegas jones.

Now I would just like to say for the record I don't deserve to win this category and probably should not gather a scant 5% of the votes for best Vegas Blog.

While I love my blog and think it is among the best in jumping off points for any person researching Vegas, there are other nominees in this category that put in a ton more work on their Vegas Blogs and are many times more knowledgeable about all things Vegas.

My passion for Vegas knowledge runs incredibly deep and I consider myself a student of some of the other nominees and am thankful to even be mentioned in the same list with them.

Thanks go to every or anyone that was responsible for nominating me in the first place- Joey

and now- WOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I'm enjoying my moment! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Vegas Tripping Previews ARIA

Chuckmonster, from VegasTripping has done a bang up job with what he calls- "the first(*) publication to properly premiere the the forthcoming hotel room designs from ARIA Resort & Casino, located within the sprawling mixed-use CityCenter property which towers over The Strip at Harmon Boulevard. "

VegasTripping is uniquely laid out so once you get to the page, be sure to make note that at the bottom of the preview there are four more pages of pictures and commentary on ARIA.

Las Vegas Logue

Las Vegas Logue is a very comprehensive Vegas travel site covering just about every angle of the City we love with countless tips, articles and suggestions. There is definitely something for everyone here.

There are some sites that scratch the surface of Las Vegas and only regurgitate the same stuff any Las Vegas aficionado already knows. LasVegasLogue is not one of those sites. It is incredibly comprehensive. It's surprising that I hadn't found it before during my exhaustive Vegas research but I guess today is their day.

What's Happening, Vegas?

What's Happening, Vegas? is a blog run by a couple of Vegas denizens- MercurialMike, and GroovesGirlVegas. There's a ton of stuff here and these two maniacs do frequent entertainment and To-Do event listings.

From Mercurial Mike's profile-
"Las aventuras de la vida en Las Vegas. Viva Las Vegas!" "The vicissitudes of life in Las Vegas. Long live Las Vegas!" I live near Las Vegas but I'm definitely not a Vegas "insider." I like living here and any Vegas topic is fair game. I'm not out to impress anybody and am frequently guilty of substituting humor for substance."
